There are 2 issues coming from this:

• Games that automatically select the virtual controller making the physical one unusable
• Steam spins 100% on 1cpu-core and doesn't exit gracefully needs SIGKILL.

EDIT: It would be useful if steam could blacklist HIDs by name.
