For reference, the attached minidump is a DUMP_REQUESTED in crashhandler.so coming from libsteamnetworkingsockets.so.
There seems to be a general crashing issue with Steam on Linux at the moment (although the root causes could be different). I've noticed the following crash scenarios:
All of these crashes exhibit the same behaviour of freezing the UI, window(s) going transparent when switching between workspaces, and Steam not recovering for a while until it eventually forces a restart of the application.
The worst I've seen it is double clicking someone to open a chat window, the app crashing and restarting, then the app crashing when I click on the re-opened chat window. All of this started to happen after the major UI rework so it feels tied to that. I'm happy to collect as many dumps as I can and dig through them to provide better technical info.

I did notice the new crashes of the client [beta] here. The steamwebhelper is segfaulting in libcef.
Just happen a few minutes ago: the client crashing while I was starting cs2. But they seem random and rare here.
Nothing extracted yet.
Your system information
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I keep having crashes every few minutes when I play CS2. This makes the game pretty much unplayable for me. It did not happen with other games so far though. I have uploaded the crashdump:
