steamwebhelper bugged out, steam overlay stopped working and I had to kill steamwebhelper
after that opening any links leads to this

I'm unable to open the browser in the overlay, it's grayed out

No parental stuff enabled at all, i'm an adult

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  2. Observe nonsensical error message

Same issue when trying to stream from a Mac to another mac. The stream client does not show anything while the game is executing on the other computer, and when I kill the stream I get that same message

I'm getting this with Steam Link with a Mac client and Windows server. Can't even access the store in Steam.

Same for appleTV 4k. Open steam link app in appleTV try to play any game. End up with this message “ Access to this functionality has been restricted by an adult in your family. You can send them a request for access.”
There is a button to send the request.
