Hello, I'm trying to design a new Steam Input profile for RetroDECK that should also work with Steam Desktop and not just the Steam Deck.
My question is:
Are there any plans to allow Steam Deck Game Mode Shortcuts in Desktop Steam or at least some of them?
Examples:
Steam Button + R2 Left Mouse Click
Steam Button + Right on D-Pad - Enter Key
As of now only Game Mode support those hotkeys even with an external controller.
There is a bit of a disconnect for users that game with external controllers on the Steam Deck, then goes to their Linux PC and the same hotkeys no longer work when they plugin their controller as they are only supported in Game Mode.
