Steps to reproduce:

1. Install a scummvm game like Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise or Putt-Putt Goes To The Moon.
2. Set Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise to use Proton Experimental, since touch input doesn't seem to work at all with the native Linux version.
3. Update the game if necessary.
4. Start the game.
5. Use touch input, which should work at this point.
6. Open any Steam overlaid menu with either the "STEAM" button or the "..." button.
7. Try to use touch input again.

Observed behavior:

After the steps to reproduce, touch input is no longer received by the game.

Expected behavior:

Touch input is expected to always continue working.
