Booting the Steam Deck and switching to desktop mode results in the client being launched with -silent flag. When you leave Steam running in the background in this condition, steamwebhelper slowly consumes CPU and RAM, eventually locking up the system. Interacting with Steam and re minimizing returns to normal resource usage.
