Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I have an 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller, which supports the Steam Deck officially, according to the advertising page.
It has 2 modes, 2.4G and Bluetooth. When hooking it up to the Deck over Bluetooth, it works as intended.
However, once it has been switched to 2.4G, Steam Input behaves awkwardly. For example, on the ship of a plane in Helldivers, where it works essentially as a hobby for additional players to join in, considering I'm the only one connected, upon pressing A on my controller, Steam Input interprets that as someone else pressing A and then, it spawns another character, and I end up with two characters responding exactly the same to my input. I describe the bug in further detail here: Video

Describe what you expected should happen: I expected my input not to be "cloned" as if there was a secondary controller connected to my Deck. Upon pressing A or any button on the ship, that should NOT result to spawning a clone character, instead nothing should happen, just like it occurs over Bluetooth.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Switch the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller to 2.4G at the back
  2. Launch a game, eg Helldivers
  3. Once you find yourself on the ship, press A or RB. The game will understand that as a command from another controller, even though there's just one controller connected to the Deck, and it'll spawn in a clone character. Now, your character and the cloned character will behave exactly the same, rendering the game unplayable (Watch video link above for further info).
