Hello dears:
This problem has been happening to me for a little over a month, which I will detail in detail. I insert my credentials and sequence in an infinite startup loop, leaving the screen with the steam logo loading and nothing happens, it never advances to the library or the store. The chat connects successfully. The only way I have access is to kill the process and repeat the start on certain occasions until randomly and luckily I manage to connect and be able to play something, or use the store. I tried reinstalling arch, installing fedora-gnome, and the same problem occurs. I thought it would be solved in an update and it was something temporary but it seems that is not the case. If I access Steam on my Windows partition I have no problems.
If I run it through the console, the only alert I see is this:
WARNING: setlocale('en_US.UTF-8') failed, using locale: 'C'. International characters may not work.
I hope you can help me because the problem makes me tired.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
I can't reproduce it in a particular way, it's a startup problem

update: the only way to solve it is to log out of the desktop session and log back into steam, so I deduce that there is some problem with linux... I tried with fedora, and reinstalled arch and the same thing happens again.
