Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When going into settings of gyro controls in any game and setting "gyro enable button" to anything else will not work. For example when I set button to left trigger it still only works when touching right stick/touch pad

Looks like the problem is with steam client and not steam os. I managed to downgrade os and it didn't help

Had same issue under Kubuntu 24.04 Xorg. Switched to Steam Beta Branch (ver. 1738889325) and it works fine. Stable (installed via .deb) however still doesn't save gyro settings.
