Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

While running the game (demo) Potions: A Curious Tale Demo(native) (appid 2551800), the steam overlay cannot be opened.
(the popup in the corner also does not show up that the overlay can be used)

The game just gets stuck for a few frames and the overlay does not open.
In big picture mode the overlay cannot be closed, even if not showing. (not via clicking anywhere or pressing escape or changing window focus)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. open the mentioned game
2. try to open the steam overlay

I already tried starting the game with the SteamLinuxRuntime 1.0 (scout) (which is the only one available aside from proton?)

When running the game via proton (experimental), the overlay is available.
In other native games the overlay can be opened without problems.
