It might be worth noting that I do not get the issue on my laptop (latest Steam version, Arch Linux, KDE Plasma Wayland, all packages updated). It has an RTX 3060 as the discrete GPU, but its CPU is a Ryzen 5800H so its integrated GPU gets used outside of games. Maybe there's some weird configuration issue with my desktop PC?
Looks like all I had to do was steam --reset. Now it works fine. I probably should've thought of some way to reset settings earlier. Sorry about that!

Your system information
steampackage version is 1.0.0.78-2)Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I open Steam normally, and about one second after the main window opens (with "Store", "Library", "Community", etc. at the top), it closes, and the Steam tray icon disappears. This just recently started occurring (some time within the last few days I think), potentially after updating some packages. I've also tried the Steam Native Runtime, and the same thing occurs.
DE is KDE Plasma 5.27.10-1, Wayland version.
