Steam Beta channel breaks controller support for my 8bit Do Pro 2 controller in the Steam UI, I am unable to activate the big picture mode or get it to navigate the UI and if I do the button press will get stuck and go to the right for example until I keep pressing escape on the keyboard until it stop then my controller will stop responding all together

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open steam
2. try and press the button to my controller only to have to press the button on Steam to activate Steam big picture mode
3. Controller issues
