There are a few things to improve with the deck intro that I will list here

  • Do not move forward to the next slide by tapping on the screen
I've seen many cases of people manhandling or testing the screen so that they are forced to skip critical information. The only place where the touchscreen should accept input is on the blue baubles indicating the amount of steps yet to take. This would allow you to also backtrack if you want to look at that info again. Tapping on the blue indicators where the input in question is could also be a valid spot
  • Let the buttons open the menus while still in the intro
I had a friend who wanted to test the STEAM and °°° buttons while they were prompted for in the intro. Instead they got pushed to the next slide. Allowing you to open those menus while still in the intro would allow for greater gradual learning. Also allow the deck to suspend when the slide for the power button is active.
I previously reported this on the Steam Forums: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/2/3642874410681223226/
