Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I've been experiencing an issue where all titles I launch via steam do whatever processing necessary(vulkan shaders etc), and then just don't launch. Steam shows them as running but there is no trace of a game(haven't checked top yet)

I attempted to run games via command line(inserting echo "%command%" >> cmd.txt and then running the contents with eventual proton environment vars)

Attempted for both OpenGL & Vulkan, Linux Native & Proton titles(with and without WINED3D)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch steam
  2. Choose a title(preferably of those I've listed as not working)
  3. Press Play

Been tested with Team Fortress 2(OpenGL & Vulkan), Half-Life, Geometry Dash, Stormworks: Build and Rescue & Persona 4 Golden.

For some reason 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel launches

Seems to happen seemly at random, a restart of steam is needed to get games to launch properly again.

Been having this issue for a week now.
Restarting steam does fix it, but having to do that every time is quite annoying.

Nothing extracted yet.
