Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Since the update to the new big picture mode, it is missing the feature to hide a device from steam input. This feature was available in the older big picture mode. Please re implement this feature in the current steam input.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Look in controller settings in Steam/current Big Picture mode.
  2. No option to hide device in Steam Input

this issue has been KILLING me for a year now! i have a small wireless keyboard that the dongle incorrectly registers as a controller and whats more worse is that it takes player ONE! back in the old overlay i'd just hit that cool hide device and the issue is gone but theirs no equivalent in new steam UI

Even Steam on Windows has this problem. I'm using DS4Windows to emulate DS3 as DS4 with gyro support (Schmaldeo fork) but Steam is recognizing DS3 and emulated DS4 as two separate controllers and double. Turning off/hiding controllers from Steam Input would be useful, so I could leave only emulated DS4.

Sorry to bump this issue again, but I would love for this issue to be addressed. It is a regression of a feature we had in the older original big picture mode and should try to be fixed in the new current big picture mode.

This feature has to return. There is no option to disable devices on linux like there is in windows device manager, so this is a must for linux systems.

Would love to have the option for steam not to take over some controllers.

Nothing extracted yet.
