Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen. Please link any large code pastes as a Github Gist

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. When I change to 4:3 in CS2 video settings I get a black screen. I would expect it to change to 4:3.

Therefore, I can no longer use the 4:3 screen ratio in CS2 because it will lead to a black screen. Instead, I must use 16:9.
Could you please advice on how to fix this on his side or if you are aware and working on an issue related to that problem?

I would really like to play 4:3 again.

You've described a rendering issue related to the aspect ratio used with some unknown game. The Steam client doesn't control this or have similar settings.
