Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Some external apps are really slow to start and stop when opened through steam. I tested this on my laptop and steam deck, same issue. (Steamdeck in SteamOS mode and Laptop with normal Steam)
I tested:

• Brave (native) -> taking minutes if it starts at all. Flatpack version works fine, started directly works fine too
• Jellyfin Media Player (native) -> same as brave
• kclock (native) -> works fine

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Add Jellyfin Media Player to steam
2. Open it through Steam
3. Wait
4. Most of the time it will open eventually
