I'm able to see all my installed games through Dash ( some of them are missing icon and using only steam generic but that's another issue ) . Launchers are located in ~/.local/share/applications .Ubuntu 12.04 32bit
Did you check the "Create a system application icon for " on the install dialog? If so, do you have a corresponding .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications?
@johnv-valve
No, I didn't check "Create a system application icon for " on the install dialog during installation.
And no, I have no steam or steam-game .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications.
You need to check that box if you want that behavior. This will put the desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications and the Dash will then pick that up.
Nothing extracted yet.
Problem:
When searching the Dash in Ubuntu, you should be able to find all installed Steam games and add them to the launcher.
