Big picture mode also crashes
Changed OS to Ubuntu, works fine, thanks for the reply though.

Ubuntu doesn't update as fast as a proper distro, just because something didn't need fixing in the past doesn't mean it wont be an issue in the future... best to nip it in the bud now.
