Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

During a remote play session, my microphone would not transmit to the host computer. Plugging in a keyboard, and pressing escape shows that the device is muted. Turning the microphone back on does resolve the issue, however there isn't an easy way to access the remote play overlay without a keyboard connected.

I would suggest 3 possible solutions:

  1. Make the Remote Play Overlay easier to get into. (Users might want that option defaulted off)
  2. Save the preferences from the Remote Play Over when they are updated.
  3. Create a more comprehensive management option in the Settings>Remote Play section of SteamOS

Thanks for looking at my raised issue! :)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start Remote Play
  2. Attempt to use voice chat to host machine.
