Steam does not work after two days of update

So, when i tried to open steam after 2 days of an update, steam does not want to open itself
it's just open an update window Like this :

yes, it's work, but that only when i want to lanch steam from terminal with this cmd ( STEAM_RUNTIME=0 steam )

@revo4ever: Once you are all up to date, can you run without the workaround? We're trying to collect data to find out if the runtime is a good solution for people running 13.04
