System Prerequisites:

Device: Steam Deck LCD / OLED (One of Each

OS Channel Update: Stable(LCD) - Main(OLED)

Steam Client Update Channel: Steam Deck Beta [Both]

OS Version: 3.5.19(LCD) + 3.7(OLED)

Kernel Version: 6.1.52-valve9-1-neptune-61(LCD)

6.5.0-valve13-1-neptune-65-gd5e176bdacb0(OLED)

BIOS Version: F7A0120(LCD) / F7G0110(OLED)

Steam Version: 1722028579[Both]

Steps to Reproduce:

Tested in Aokana: Four Rythmns of the Blue
(Steam ID: 1044620)

  1. Be in SteamOS "Game Mode"

(This works regardless of SteamOS Version)

  1. Visit Aokana's Game Page --> Start Aokana --> Take a Screenshot of the Opening Menu --> Return to --> Go to Controller Settings

  2. Select the Default Layout or Apply my Layout in Community Layouts "Superior | Four Rhythms Layout: Beta | [Steam Deck]

  3. Modify any Input & replace it with Move Cursor: Specifically " Move to Position". --> Disable "Return to previous position after command ends" --> Set an X/Y Position --> Document/Log X/Y values for each command.

4(a) In my case I had 7-9 Different Inputs all using Move Cursor, mostly on the Left Trackpad, so set more than one. Atleast 4: Move Cursor Commands or modify my existing Layout.

4(b) Use the screenshot as a reference when making setting X/Y Positions

  1. Check the Values are documented accurately, Test the Inputs to see if they do as inteded(if neccesary)

  2. Upload the Layout to Community

  3. Start another Steam Deck, download the new Layout to that alternative Steam Deck & check the X/Y Position & Inputs for accuracy and intended behavior.

  4. If Inputs do not work as intended, or irregularities are noticed --> Then it has been reproduced

Notes

The original Steam Deck is entirely Stock, with the aception of running the Steam Beta. Layout was made on the Steam.

My original Layout: Superior | Four Rhythmns Layout: Beta | [Steam Deck] utilizes 6 Action Sets(3 Three of them being mostly blank, devoid of key).
