I recently used Steam link and, both in the app and device, I have a performance problem. In graphically heavy games I do 20/30 fps, despite the 100+ when I don't use Steam Remote Play. there are some games where fps are still 60 (but I'm talking about very light games, like 2D indie or PS3 generation games). In addition to this, Steam Big Picture often jerks (regardless of hardware acceleration or not). I have tried various distros, different desktop environments, but nothing solves this problem. I use Manjaro Linux, I have an RTX 3070, Intel Core i7 10700 and 16 GB of RAM. I have the latest drivers installed and, as long as I don't use Steam Link, everything generally works fine. I didn't have any problems on Windows. I would really like to solve because i am happy with Linux and I regularly use Steam Link.
I confirm that the problem is the same as that of 2022, in which the fps of the games performed with Proton at 1080p or higher resolution drops around 24/30 or 45. According to the report made The problem should have been fixed, however, at least for me, 1080p is not working properly. I am using 720p.
