Hello @LeilaVerbeeck, your stack track looks like a video driver issue similar to #8853. This issue should be reported to your video driver vendor if it hasn't been already.
Hi, thank you for your quick response. I think it has been already but they've yet to take action. So far installing the flatpak version of steam seems to have helped the system freezes.
Edit: Nevermind, just had another crash, strangely enough there was not even a log in journalctl logs :/
For me, the problem was solved by installing SDL2-static for Fedora 40 Gnome

While having steam installed, anything using the shared library glib2 will eventually dump core, crashing the system.
This has happened to me mostly when the graphics card is under some load, for example while streaming videos, gaming, drawing, etc.
