When steam (linux) client authenticated and exited, steamcmd will failed to reuse steam authentication when run. And failed with: "password: FAILED (Invalid Password)" Without trying to prompt for a password.
When steamcmd fresh installed without steam (linux) client it will authenticate properly. But steam (linux) client will fail reuse steamcmd authentication and will ask for password on first start.
steamcmd downloaded from http://media.steampowered.com/client/steamcmd_linux.tar.gz have authentication issues.
