I’m using the latest version of Steam on Linux (Ubuntu 24.04).
For nearly two months, I’ve been experiencing crashes with Counter-Strike 2. The game would frequently crash on startup, and when it did manage to launch, attempting to join a game would result in an immediate crash.
Recently, the game sometimes manages to start without crashing, but now I encounter the following error when trying to enter a game:
Matchmaking Failed
Failed to reach any official servers. There might be a problem with your internet connection or firewall configuration. Please verify your network settings and try again.
1 - 3 - Multiple attempts to acquire the required network resources have failed.
2- Network connection established successfully, but official servers are unreachable.
I’m using a UniFi firewall, but since the game used to launch without issues, I don’t believe the firewall is the cause. This is on steam side.
