Steam occasionally won't open after quitting a game.

I noticed this as well when launching through the taskbar. Sometimes when I'm done playing a game, I can't open my steam again AND tray icon is super laggy. I have to right click and exit steam, then wait a while for it to actually close. Trying to kill the process through the system monitor or with `$ pkill steam` does not work. I suspect this may be part of a larger lag problem in general, as when I'm navigating steam, sometimes it'll just freeze for 30+ seconds.

I'm on Nobara 40 which is a modified version that used Fedora Workstation packages.

I'm also seeing this on Fedora 41 with the RPM version of Steam. It's been happening for at least a week for me.

It seems to have resolved for me. Haven't seen the issue in over a week when it was previously happening constantly.

I also have the same issue. I'm on Nobara 40. Additionally to the fact that I've to exit steam almost every time I'm done playing a game, I also have sometimes the issue that I've constant popups saying either "You want to uninstall the game?" or the friends list and remote play together pops up until I kill steam, cause I can't play then.
