Sometimes desktop applications like mod managers spawn in an awkward resolution and the only way to fix that seems to be to go to desktop mode. For this I suggest adding a menu entry to maximize the windowed application.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Start a windowed application in desktop mode
Adjust the window to have an aspect ratio that doesn't conform to the deck screen
Close the application, add it to steam and go to gamemode
Open the same application in gamemode
Result:
The game is stuck in this aspect ratio until I go fix it in desktop mode
Expected:
Have some menu button that automatically maximizes the window
