There are only a small selection of games available for Linux at the moment (around 27 I think). Even games with a native Linux client are still missing and will hopefully be added soon.
Having a quick look at my steam library here are a few games that do have a native Linux client but are not listed as Linux games:
And that is just the games I own :)
My guess is that they have to create a launcher for each of the games and find all the dependencies and test them so it takes time to add them as Linux games. And I would not be surprised if they stick with only the current 27 games while the fix the bugs with the client.
On my client it only appears two of them :( TF2 Beta and Portal... :(
@r3pek You have portal? I didn't think that had been ported yet.
@james147 no, i can't install it. But it's the only 2 games I have on the 'All' tab
@r3pek are they the only games you have activated on steam? The "All" tab should show all the games you have activated on steam, no matter what platform.

@r3pek yes, you still need to buy the games in order to play then :) if you have ever bought a humble inde bundle before you can activate some of the games from it on steam and then some of them are playable on Steam for Linux. The list I posted above is a list of all the humble indie bundle games that I own that do not currently have a Linux version but will hopefully be supported eventually.

@james147 Yeah I have... The one with Uplink and Darwinia... Can they be activated on Linux?
I have both of them from a bundle... Check the email you got when you
bought the bundle, it has a link to a page where the steam keys for that
bundle can be found.

Yeah... I have an account there from where I can download the games... But it doesn't have any Steam Keys... :(
Not clear what the bug here is. Even if a Linux game exists, the game publisher still needs to publish their client to Steam for it to show up in Steam.
left 4 dead 2 is not in the games list. was the explicit bug report.
