linux mint 14, gnome 3.6, driver fglrx 1920x1080, sapphire hd 7870, amd fx-8350, 16gb ddr3 1866, asus crosshair v formula, corsair gt 120gb

Steam worked 2 weeks ago on this same machine, but with ubuntu. I changed because there were distribution problems

Can you please open a terminal window, and type steam, then copy / paste the complete output here?

Thanks.

Sorry to comment on this old issue, but I think I have a similar issue. Steam crashed as soon as I clicked "login to existing account".

Here is the complete console output:

Should I open a new issue or just wait for you to reopen the issue?

TTele42 2014-09-18 github

@Energy0124 opening a new issue report would be the better option.

@Tele42 Ok. Thank you for your advise. I will open a new issue a bit later.
