Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen. Please link any large code pastes as a Github Gist Launch steam client with loading time around 5-10 sec as usual, but it takes now around 30 sec or even more

please check how looks the /etc/hosts in your system.
There was an issue when the first entry was not 127.0.0.1 localhost

for what you downvote my reply about loading time on windows???? If steam on manjaro/arch/debian loads around 30-40 seconds after clean install. Are you troll or what??? Valve devels borke steam client again like they broke cs2 and dota2 with every patch. FAREWELL

not sure what windows client loading time has to do with loading in manjaro. Have you checked /etc/hosts? What does it look like?

Seeing similar - taking easily 35-45 seconds to get STEAM to go from execute to, suddenly fully open/loaded and i have it all switched in settings to minimal. While on windows at least you see the startup process and loading and it takes only about 10 seconds.
Garuda (Arch) with just about any kernel though i'm using the fastest one atm; CachyOS
