Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Steam checks for runtime updates, then logs in (spinner), then crashes before (or right when) the main window is supposed to open.

GDB says this about the segmentation fault:

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start
  2. Login
  3. Segfault

Not sure what it was, but removing ~/.steam* and ~/.local/share/Steam completely solved the issue. I thought that's what steam reset does, that's why I didn't try it manually before...
