We've had a number of reports of texture corruption that appear to be related to Mesa itself. Some people have reported better luck with more recent builds of Mesa.
I Use the latest beta versions of Mesa, and there's no problem of texture corruption
I'm seeing the same issue in the server browser, there are some VAC secure/banned shields in the password column on some random servers, I thought I was VAC banned. I could join these servers just fine, they aren't even passworded.

Thanks, the texture corruption has been removed in the newest Steam update.
I'm probably seeing a different issue then, as I still have the same issue, but it's not actually caused by overlay. Will open an other issue.
Closing as the original issue is fixed.
Nothing extracted yet.
Just walk (using shift + w) and try displaying your score by "tab" during that - it shows overlay (ok, it has different bindings) and after return from the overlay, textures are corrupted. Screen shows corruption in the game; they are also corrupted in server list ("lock" on locked server, "VAC shield").
