Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

In the latest Steam Client Beta, enabling per-game Steam Play compatibility tool overrides has become a one-way switch. Once the box is ticked for a game, clicking on it again doesn't disable the override. The tick gets removed, but the game will continue to use the last selected Steam Play compatibility tool.

The expected outcome would be for the override to be disabled when the box is unticked. This is the behaviour seen in the current stable version of the Steam client.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Go to Library
  2. Right click on a game
  3. Go to Properties
  4. Go to Compatibility
  5. Enable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
  6. Disable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
  7. Close the Properties window
  8. Go to Properties/Compatibility again
  9. The box remains ticked even though it should not be
