Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

This has been a problem since I started using my Steam Deck with a TV a few months ago. I use my deck in only in desktop mode with my TV (game mode scales terribly with my TV and every game look so blurry and bad, which makes game mode basically unusable with my TV).

The sale popup window that shows up to inform you about sales when you start Steam does not fully fit onscreen on my TV, which is 1360x768 resolution. The bottom part of the sale window does not fit, which includes the part where you are supposed to be able to change to the next page. There's no scrollbar to let you scroll down to see the navigation at the bottom either.

As a result, you can only see the very first page. There's no way to get to other pages.

An image makes this very clear:

I'm on a Steam Deck, so this is on Steam OS. I would imagine this might happen even on Windows however, as it looks like a general Steam client UI issue.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Change resolution to 1360x768 (I'm on a Steam Deck in desktop mode, in case OS makes a difference)
  2. Close Steam if it's open. Start Steam
  3. If a sale window pops up when you start Steam, you will see this problem
