When TF2 starts, I get following console issue when trying to play:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124379236

Last time I played few days ago, and since then, there were no changes on my system, except for small TF2 update today. I tried verifying the game cache, and it said it redownloaded one file, but issue persists.

I just tested TF2 Beta, and it works just fine, so from layman's perspective, the issue is somewhere in TF2. Has something relevant changed in the latest game update?

This was caused by me not having latest steam.sh script in .local/share/Steam.

Background: Since Steam .deb package is not usable on Debian, I have no /usr/bin/steam, and have to keep Steam updated manually. For some reason, the update check did not pick up the new version.

Nothing extracted yet.
