Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When exiting out of Anno 1800, Steam continues to show the game as "Playing" or "Running" even though it's no longer active. The user must manually click the "Stop" button for it to end the play session, and when they do they're greeted with the warning that data might not be properly saved.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start Anno 1800
  2. Exit the game
  3. Observe

Hello @BRTPOB, we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker.
