Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When launching steam window appears for few seconds and then disappears. Sometimes it doesnt disappear immediately but does when i hover mouse over it. Steam is still running in background.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch steam

I've resolved this issue by cleaning up my home directory of (deleted many files starting with . of apps i didnt need and some other), im not sure what resolved it but some of them were files related to gtk so it may have been related to that since i messed around with gtk themes.
