Clicking on certain in-game links (any game which tries to open web pages) should, depending on the URL, open the URL directly in Steam's main window or cause a browser to be launched (via x-www-browser, sensible-browser or xdg-open). Nothing happens.

Similarly, nothing happens if I do the equivalent in a terminal window:
