Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I've noticed that most times when I start Steam (Native) I get the errors shown below. Then I have to quit steam (via gnome top bar steam icon since it still shows up) and try starting again and it usually works. Any way to fix it? I haven't tried Steam (Runtime) because I was advised that Steam (native) still just launches the runtime but with some added optimizations or something like that.

First error I get is:

Then a few seconds later I usually see a blank window with this error:

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Boot computer
  2. Try to launch Steam (Native)
  3. Get errors
  4. Quit Steam via gnome topbar steam icon that still shows up regardless of the errors
  5. Try to open Steam (Native) a 2nd time and it works.
