Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Whenever I try to launch Portal, the game crashes without anything popping up, steam says the game is running for a few seconds before it goes back to saying "play". I thought maybe some files were broken, so I reinstalled and verified the game's file integrity, but that did not fix the issue. Then I tried updating my gpu drivers, but those were already up to date (as was my os and steam). The game launches when I force use Proton, but it just won't launch natively for me (even though Portal has native Linux support). When I try to run the game via console by running the hl2.sh file with the command: "./hl2.sh", I get the error "Failed to load the launcher", and when running the main executable (hl2_linux) by using the command "./hl2_linux", I get the error " ./hl2_linux: error while loading shared libraries: libmimalloc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". The file libmimalloc.so file exists at the location Portal/bin/libmalloc.so, so I have no idea why it says the file doesn't exist. Any help would be appreciated :)
