Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible

Expected Behavior:

Sidebar Display: In Big Picture Mode on desktop mode, the sidebar should remain on the left side of the screen without shifting or being cropped.

Overlay Behavior: The Steam UI overlay should display correctly in-game during Remote Play.

Current Behavior:

Overlay Issue: in the Steam deck the Steam UI overlay does not appear during Remote Play, even though its activation is audible. But this place correctly in the Main monitor

Sidebar Shifting: In desktop mode, when Big Picture Mode is opened, the sidebar unexpectedly shifts from the left to the center of the screen, with the surrounding interface elements becoming cropped.

Steps for reproducing this issue

  1. Gaming Mode (SteamOS/Steam deck):

During Remote Play(Steam link) in steam OS gaming mode

Go to any game and try activating the Steam overlay

You can hear activation sound but the overlay does not appearing but works correctly in the main monitor

  1. Desktop Mode (any Linux Distro):

Exit gaming mode and launch Steam on any Linux distribution (e.g., Linux Mint).

Open Big Picture Mode.

Notice that the sidebar shifts from the left to the center of the screen, causing cropping of the surrounding interface.
