Have you checked for updates in Settings > System?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
My Steam Deck becomes unresponsive 1-2 times per day (it freezes at that frame, or the screen turns black). It doesn't matter if I'm in a simple game like Crush Crush or just browsing my library; it can also happen immediately after opening it from sleep mode (without being in any games). The only thing that works is to force a shutdown; everything else remains unresponsive. I left it like that for a while, too, and it didn't restart by itself. The fans also sometimes get very loud for a couple of seconds when this happens, and then they go quiet.
What I've tried already but hasn't helped:
Factory Reset with the current stable Steam OS and stable Steam Client.
Switched to Steam OS Beta and Steam client Beta.
Switched to Steam OS Preview 3.7.2 and Steam client Beta.
Put my Steam Deck in storage mode.
Disabled 'Updated fan control' option from System.
Fully reset the system via holding vol - and '...' buttons.
I'm not sure if it's a hardware defect or just a software issue. After the last time my Steam Deck became unresponsive (turned screen black while I was browsing library), I've created a System Report and sent it to Steam support servers. If any Steam employees see this, my Steam profile is https://steamcommunity.com/id/yougothitbygunner/. The timestamp when the device became unresponsive is around ~March 30, 14:40. From what I can gather, steamwebhelper crashed and ended up making my Deck unresponsive. Is that what's happening? I've also saved all Steam Logs, but I'm not sure if they contain any personal information in them, so I'll refrain from posting them here until someone tells me to. The times when my Steam Deck becomes unresponsive are always random, but it seems to happen after my Deck stays up for a while without any restarts (around 6-12 hours). I'll post below the steamwebhelper crash from the System Report. I haven't done a re-image yet because I wasn't sure if that would void the warranty, and I'm also not sure if it does anything different from a Factory Reset.
