Can confirm i also have the same issue, didn't pop up when I updated to 3.6.24, but it occurred after I updated to the April 1st steam client build.
I also dunno if it's related, but my inputs seem to get stuck alot if I try messing with the gpu clock setting.
Also I'm noticing audio popping when I wake my deck from sleep mode now, made a separate report for that.
Same issue here. Reported TDP on the slider is 0 watts with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 0.
I'm seeing the same issue since I updated to the most recent stable client update today. I did not see issues after the SteamOS update a few days ago.
I'm on an OLED 1TB Deck with the latest version of stable for OS and client. I do not have any third party plugins installed.
This is also being reported by a number of people on Reddit across several threads, e.g.:

Some of these clearly indicate that the issue was present on the beta branch more than a week ago and slipped to stable now.
The same issue, please fix it
Same issue. Seemed to appear on reboot prior to applying 3.6.24. This is real frustrating if you are a tinkerer to maximize battery life, but to have that functionality removed.
How did this make it to Stable?
I don’t know which one is worst: An issue like this which was flagged during the Beta, and it went straight into Stable, or the fact that we can’t even properly disable/postpone updates, to prevent serious issues like these 🙄
Just saw a new client update pop up (I think with the same description as the previous one, and AFAICT not referencing this issue specifically). Applied the update hoping it would fix/revert this, but still having the same issue.
The update did get reissued. Though it was to fix an entirely unrelated problem.

Good to know.
FWIW, I saw it reissued again just a few minutes ago.
(I applied it again, still nothing for the performance settings issue.)
Also I don't know if it should be treated as a separate issue but, FSR disappeared from the Scaling Filter selector
Edit: After reading @naijiban reply, and testing can confirm FSR was renamed to Sharp, so I'm striking out the text above to avoid any confusion.

It sounds to me like this entire update was pretty half-baked, with all the issues being reported. I wish they'd roll it back entirely and go back to the kitchen, if that's an option.
Considering that the issues with the performance settings menu were already reported during the beta (several threads on Steam's Steam Deck bug reports forum, not to mention reports on third party sites like Reddit's r/steamdeck), this hurts my confidence in Valve's release process quite a bit.
I don't believe they ever really roll back updates like this, they just moreso fix and patch up issues over the upcoming days if they don't get them during the beta and end up in stable.

I appreciate the context, as I do not usually watch this repo.
As a software developer myself (albeit in a very different domain - and not on this account), I can certainly sympathize with the approach of rolling forward whenever that's possible.
That said, if my team shipped a major bug like this to end users, we would seriously consider the option to roll it back unless we could isolate the issue and ship a fix within hours (let's say a business day to be generous). I can also guarantee that we would retrospect on how it was possible that beta feedback about this bug existed but did not prevent it shipping to stable. There may be a process breakdown somewhere. That part to me is more concerning than the issue itself (which I assume will get fixed sooner rather than later).

The filter is still there, just renamed to Sharp. Nvidia NIS is what got removed it seems.
Edit: The info message for the scaling filter option suggests that it could be dynamic option that switches between FSR and NIS depending on what platform you use.

Just edited my message in order to avoid future mistakes. Thank you for pointing out my error.
After update I can’t install decky-loader and use passwd with help of konsole, because at the moment when the password is requested, the input does not work (the cursor on the console does not blink, it just lights up constantly)
I'm also getting no more volume ui sounds (the beeps) when turning volume up or down anymore in gaming mode. I still have ui sounds tab in settings turned on though but only menu sounds are working correctly.
So fsr has just been renamed to sharp now, is that correct? That's just confusing now after having it so long named fsr & not mentioning it in the notes to stop users getting confused.
I was certainly confused thinking the fsr tab had reverted to an old inferior version.
I'm on oled & newest update 3.6.24.
Edit: just tried the deck again testing the manual gpu toggle it's lagging like hell & sending its own inputs & going up & down the quick menu on its own & left & right. It's terrible🤣
Edit of an Edit: so the tdp toggle has been fixed for me at least now as they just shipped a new update!
But the gpu toggle still sticks & lags after you turn it up or down at least 4 times! I use gpu manual clock very often so hopefully they can get this fixed ASAP as it's still so unresponsive!
Can confirm the tdp power toggle has been fixed now, i can actually change it again.
Edit: issues with audio popping when deck wakes up and gpu clock speed lag is still present, made separate reports for them.

Closing as fixed.
Nothing extracted yet.
Steam Deck OLED
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.
Updated to the latest stable branch of SteamOS via the "System>Updates" menu within Gaming Mode, SteamOS 3.6.24, and the TDP limiter and GPU core clock sliders in the quick access menu are now broken completely. Unable to select any range of wattage at all.
