Steps for reproducing this issue:

Steam client opens maximized but visually as minimized.
Starting steam client from a freshly boot Nobara 41.
Client opens as fully expanded but is visually only seen as minimised.
Closing the client and starting it again resolves issue.

Thanks @Guckusko - does this happen all the time or only intermittently on your system? Please switch to the beta steam client, and confirm this is also happening?

This is isn't specific to Fedora/Nobara, I see this intermittently on Arch/NVidia/X11 (not a new issue either, a few months at least).

That's fine with me.

intermittently. I just tried opening and closing steam about ten times.
First was fine, second and third where incorrect and the ones after where all fine.

I will test but need a few days before reporting back.

The issue can be replicated on Beta.
