Update.
I actually noticed today that there is a beta-gyro option that seems to address this issue. Its not perfect and the mouse/camera will randomly jump some times with this option, but the input is very smooth comparatively so it seems valves is working on it so im satisfied with that for the time being. Hopefully they can iron out the input jumping but since its a beta feature I assume they're still working on it.
Nothing extracted yet.
Your system information
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Wireless Horipad for Steam has horribly jittery gyro input over a bluetooth connection when trying to use the gyro as a mouse. The same issue is not present when using the same gyro features over the USB-c cable connection.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
This issue doenst seem to be uniquely a linux issue, others who've purchased the same controller have reported the same problem with gyro only over bluetooth as the gyro works great when connected with the USB cable. I do not know if this is an issue with Steam Input, the drivers for the controller, or even the firmware on the controller its self. I've attempted to reach out to Hori regarding this but I've not heard back from them. I could not find a specific steam-input github location and since this issue is present on both my Steam Deck and my Arch linux desktop, I figured this would be a good as place to any to post it, hopfully the right eyes can see it.
