Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

On the Legion Go , Legion Go R/L + Y (when the MCU is in Linux or Windows mode, respectively), is a hardware shortcut for changing performance profiles. However, this conflicts with the Steam client hotkey for "Turn Off Controller", which after some log snooping I traced back to controller_action controller_poweroff in /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/241100/759217323/259342887838709315_legacy.bin

Image

As a result, controller function is lost for several seconds when performing the hotkey to change performance profiles, and the controller acts as a mouse + keyboard until the normal control scheme re-asserts itself.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. On a Legion Go S, press Legion Right + Y (if the ring at the top of the device does not change color, try Legion Left + Y)
  2. After performing the hotkey, try to use the right joystick

The right joystick will now act as a mouse, and the left joystick will start emitting keybinds for brightness up/down and other functions.

Additional Info:

This was only introduced with the new stable client update where instead of the Steam client treating the Go S controller as a Steam Deck, it treats it as a separate device.
