xdg-open { file | URL }

xdg-open { --help | --manual | --version }
  • GPU: AMD RX 6000 series

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When attempting to browse files for a non-steam game the steam client appears to run xdg-open without any arguments. Non-steam games I have are within home/user/Downloads/Games/Win, so I don't believe this is a permission issue.
Adding a non-steam game works fine as well as browsing a steam game's local files. Other apps are able to open my file manager just fine (i.e. my browser)
xdg-open itself also works when supplied with valid arguments in a terminal.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Add non-steam game
  2. Attempt to browse files
  3. Fail to profit
