Hello @minomit, if the only change between the working case and quirk case is a GPU hardware swap, then that hints at a video driver issue that should also be mentioned to your video driver vendor.
Can you share the set of logs requested in the issue report template? Also, please copy the contents of Steam Runtime Diagnostics from Steam (Steam -> Help -> Steam Runtime Diagnostics) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.

Vulkan is broken in general with the environment variables you're using to start Steam on the RTX 4070.
Hi, thanks for the detailed analysis.
Just to confirm: Vulkan is working correctly on my system outside of Steam. I ran vkcube using the same environment variables I'm using to launch Steam with the RTX 4070, and it renders correctly without errors.
I've attached a screenshot as proof that Vulkan is functioning properly with the current configuration.
Let me know if you need me to run any further tests.

Your system information
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
After contacting support in the steam client, they told me to write here, installing the steam client on Ubuntu 24.04 lts does not run any game (neither native linux, nor windows [proton enable]), instead starting it without nvidia 4070 card but with nvidia1650 they work... I tried to uninstall and install everything both the client and the games.. but nothing changes
