I have an identical issue on a different distro. It extends to only games running through proton as far as I can see. (Stellaris launches sort of, table top simulator runs just fine any app running through proton will have near identical error codes as I've listed below).

Hello @Xelafree, Proton is not compatible with exFAT at this time due to missing filesystem features. (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3835)

The steam client opens fine and stuff ive tried reinstalling it already so some features just dont work in the client such as accessing properties of a game changing the version of proton whenever i click them they just dont do anything steam games or non steam games dont boot when i click play it says launching or sometimes says im in the game but after like 2 seconds it kicks me out or something and shows me the green play button again what should i do?
